Custom Art Dolls
Alongside the reborn art dolls available for adoption from national live events throughout the year, Charlie began to offer custom services to a select number of clients in 2024.
Custom orders are managed in the dedicated Bluebird Customs App, which is free to join. However, membership is restricted to clients who have previously purchased a reborn art doll at a live event or with a recommendation from existing App Members who are willing to provide a character reference.
Charlie will not directly replicate any of her previous work, work by another reborn artist, or create a custom using a kit without a Certificate of Authenticity (CoA). This way, all Bluebird Nursery customers are assured that they will receive a genuine and unique reborn art doll.
Some artists prefer to offer "loose customs", which means that clients typically choose the sculpt and basic details such as hair and eye colour. The artist then paints the reborn art doll in their own style with minimal additional input.
Bluebird Custom clients have the opportunity to tailor their involvement in the process. Whether they'd like to customise every detail or would prefer a surprise, Charlie works closely with her clients to make their vision a reality and the customs experience special and meaningful.
Charlie purchases most of her materials in larger quantities, which is better for the environment and allows her to keep her prices as low as possible for as long as possible.
With the standard custom fees starting from £500 and optional payment plans for up to 12 months, Bluebird Custom Reborn Art Dolls are high quality works of art suited to a range of budgets.
Customs are released as project slots in the dedicated Bluebird Customs App twice a year: In October (covering projects between January and June) and in April (covering projects between July and December).
Unfortunately, Charlie cannot accept any other requests for custom work outside of these project releases in the Customs App.

Applications to join the App are only accepted from clients who have previously purchased a reborn art doll from Bluebird Nursery at a live event or with the support of an existing App Member who is willing to provide a character reference for you.
If your application is accepted, a link to join the Customs App will be sent to the email address you have provided.
