Based in Staffordshire, UK, Charlie Willis is an autistic artist specialising in graphite portraiture and hyper-realistic reborn art dolls.
Charlie established Bluebird Nursery in 2019 to work on a select number of reborn art dolls throughout the year alongside her graphite portraiture. She painted her first prototype reborn art doll for Enchanted Kreature Kits in 2022 and set aside her pencils to work almost exclusively in the Nursery since 2024.
Unable to completely abandon her passion for 2D work, Charlie still works on her Lived Experience Project which explores stories of neurodiversity and mental illness.

Charlie is a member of the Reborn Artistry Alliance (member number 135) and the International Reborn Doll Artists (IRDA). She is committed to the RAA and IRDA professional dollmakers standards of conduct. Charlie Willis Art is also registered with A.R.A. (seal number 00001175), such that she stands with fellow artists in support of reborn sculptors and will only ever work with authentic reborn doll kits.

As a self taught artist striving for realism in her work, Charlie is always refining her reborning techniques and exploring new products and methods to achieve this. She has started to develop free artist resources to share some of this knowledge with others.
